From Self-Taught Formulator to Award-Nominated Manufacturer
My journey with Nelle Mavri began long before the first product was ever formulated. Like many Black women, I personally struggled with persistent hair breakage, thinning edges, and hairline loss. Despite trying numerous products on the market, I often found that they failed to address the root causes of my hair concerns or contained ingredients that left my hair feeling dry, weak, and damaged. Determined to find a better solution, I immersed myself in cosmetic formulation, researching ingredients and developing products specifically designed to nourish, strengthen, and restore African hair. What started as a personal mission to heal my own hair soon became a passion for helping other women and children facing the same challenges.
Today, I am proud to be the Founder and Chief Formulator of Nelle Mavri, an African manufacturing brand committed to creating high-quality haircare and body care products that celebrate and support natural beauty. As an ISO 9001 Certified Formulator, Cosmetics Accelerator Programme Graduate, and a recognized entrepreneur, I have dedicated years to developing solutions that address hairline loss, breakage, thinning hair, moisture retention, and overall hair health.
Nelle Mavri is more than a beauty brand it is a revolution rooted in African excellence, scientific innovation, and self-love. Every formula is created with purpose, inspired by real challenges and designed to deliver real results.
